2、Degummed silk is insoluble in water under general conditions, but it has strong hygroscopic properties. After absorbing moisture, the silk fiber can increase its weight by up to 30% of its own weight, which provides a guarantee for it to be made into silk products (such as silk quilt, etc.) and applied in the beauty industry to provide moisturizing effect.
