1、Silk fibroin in silk fibroin solution mainly exist in the form of random coil, which is not a thermodynamically stable structure.So under certain external conditions (such as temperature change, change of PH, etc.), the random coil will be induced to transform into the β-folding structure.
2、Molecular weight of silk fibroin ≥ 20 kDa.
3.Environmental tolerance: Silk fibroin solution has good tolerance to neutral and weakly acidic and alkaline environments.
